「ebony dish」

黒檀の十二神皿

Ebony dish of the Twelve Divine Beings

空間とサービスにこだわりを持つBARからのリクエストは「黒檀でオリジナルの豆皿を作ってほしい」。モックアップサンプルを何種類も作製しその中から選んでいただく形で作業を進めました。黒檀は硬い素材なのでエッジの効いたシャープなラインを生み出せます。十二神をイメージした彫刻のような作品になりました。

We designed original small plates from ebony for a bar. After creating various mock-up samples, we collaborated with the client to finalize the design. The hardness of ebony enabled us to create sharp edges, resulting in a sculptural piece inspired by the Twelve Divine Beings.
